Run To Remember

Local Resident Runs to Remember—and Raises Funds for MHPCO

The Michigan Hospice and Palliative Care Organization announces that John Howes will be participating in the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington, DC on October 31st as part of the National Hospice Foundation’s Run to Remember program.

John is raising funds in support of hospice care, which is the focus of the Run to Remember program. Half the net proceeds raised will be returned from the National Hospice Foundation (NHF) to MHPCO. John’s passion for running for hospice stems from the loss of his own father. He remembers how hospice made his father's last days so much easier to handle. John said "For this I will be forever grateful and want to run to show my appreciation".

MHPCO must be notified of all cancellations in writing no later than two weeks prior to any conference date. A $50 processing fee will apply to all cancellations.

No refunds on cancellations after the two week deadline.

MHPCO reserves the right to substitute faculty or re-schedule sessions due to unforseen circumstances.
